Legal Experience
Ilene Diamond, J.D., Psy.D. has had years of litigation and legal strategy work in both large and small firm environments. Representative cases included toxic tort, professional malpractice, estate administration, environmental liability, banking, employment and commercial contracts, partnership disputes, intellectual property, antitrust, white collar crime, unfair business practices, and class actions. Pro bono work involved disability and educational rights, childcare licensing, political asylum, eviction defense, extradition, and international human rights. In addition to her work in private practice, Dr. Diamond served for two years as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. David W. Hagen (Ret.) of the Federal District Court for the District of Nevada, analyzing a variety of civil and criminal law issues and assisting at over 30 trials and hundreds of pre- and post-trial hearings. Dr. Diamond graduated magna cum laude from the University of Illinois College of Law, where she was a Harno Scholar and a recipient of the Rickert Award for excellence in legal writing. She has been a member in good standing of the California Bar since 1994.
